DISCLAIMER: Data is modeled using historical sightings aboard Sydney pelagic trips dating from 1996 up to the most recent trip. All historic Great-winged Petrel records are unconfirmed and probably should be treated as Grey-faced Petrel. Historic "Wandering" Albatross records include gibsoni as a subspecies of D. exulans. We've moved historical gibsoni reports where identified as "Gibson's" to D. antipodensis gibsoni. They are shown as "Gibson's Albatross" on the graphs. NZ Albatross records have been moved to Antipodean Albatross (D. antipodensis antipodensis) where noted and Wandering Albatross (D. exulans) to Snowy Albatross (D. exulans). Black-browed Albatross subspecies, melanophris and impavida, have been split on the graphs into Black-browed Albatross and Campbell Albatross respectively. Shy Albatross records as graphed are a combination of both steadi and cauta subspecies.
